How it all startedBack in 2008, I started shooting boudoir in the iconic Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, AZ, yep, the one with the retro pool vibes and floor-to-ceiling windows. My longtime ride-or-die and makeup magician, Linda Wagner, worked out of those sexy little suites with me until we upgraded our game and moved into the Westin downtown and the ultra-artsy FOUND:RE in Phoenix. Our shoots were wild, raw, empowering, and unlike anything women had ever experienced before.
In 2016, I opened my first official studio space in downtown Phoenix. Since then? I've had three different studios, each one more me than the last, and now, Femme Art is thriving in my favorite location yet: downtown Mesa, Arizona.
Femme Art is my love letter to women. This studio is unapologetically focused on boudoir photography, not the cheesy kind, but the kind that flips a switch inside you. The kind that makes you look in the mirror and say "Whoa. I didn’t know I could feel like this."
I’ve photographed nearly 1,000 women, every shape, every size, every story. From badass 20-somethings to radiant 80-year-olds. Divorced women reclaiming their power. Brides-to-be giving the sexiest wedding gift ever. Wives celebrating anniversaries. Girlfriends surprising their men for their birthdays. And women who simply said: “I’m doing this for ME.”

It’s Lovely to Meet You
Since you’re trusting me enough to strip down in front of my camera, it only feels right that you get to meet the woman behind it.I’m in my 40’s, married, and have two incredible boys who are 12 and 14, smack in the middle of junior high and high school. They’re somehow still the sweetest humans on earth and, miraculously, they still adore me. I’m holding onto that for as long as humanly possible.
I’m a sucker for sweets. I’m probably the least glamorous person you know, I never wear makeup, and my curly hair lives in a bun 99.9% of the time. My daily uniform is jeans, birks, and a black t-shirt. If you ask me to dress up, there’s a good chance I’ll panic and tell you I have absolutely nothing to wear.
I’ve been “trying to lose 20 pounds” for what feels like a lifetime, and the only thing I’m truly consistent at is not doing it. I was really into running once, for a solid month. These days, I’m more into hiking, sunshine, and slow mornings.
I cry easily, laugh loudly, and sing constantly (yes, even during your shoot.) I love stories, crave the sun, worship the Arizona desert, and always dream of the ocean.
I’ve been a boudoir photographer for over a decade, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Helping women see themselves in a new light, powerful, beautiful, worthy, that’s what I live for.
