Top 3 Things to Know to prepare for Your Boudoir Shoot

Work With Someone Who Gets You

Find a boudoir photographer whose work and vibe speak to you, someone who makes you feel seen and safe, not judged or posed to death.

Wear What Makes You Feel Good

You don’t need lingerie if that’s not your thing. Bring outfits that make you feel confident, that could be lace, leather, or your favorite oversized tee.

You’re Already Ready

You don’t need to lose weight, tone up, or fix a single thing. You are enough exactly as you are, and I’ve got you every step of the way. Confidence doesn’t come after the shoot, it shows up the moment you decide to do it anyway.

Get inspired to move.

Stand in front of a long-length mirror and rock your sexy. This is your permission slip to let go of any inhibitions. It's time to get familiar with your curves and frame.

What is your favorite part of your body? Is it your delicate collar bone, slender shoulders, long legs, hourglass waist, or luscious derrière? Standing and watching yourself provocatively pose, dance, and love yourself will be the most impactful thing you do to prep for your shoot.

Here's our gal, Beyoncè showing us how to slowly and seductively move - pay close attention to her hands, neck, hair, eyes, hips, and lips. No need to rush, s-l-o-w is better. Be patient with yourself. Enjoy yourself. Laugh at yourself. Explore yourself and just dance, baby, dance.

If Bey isn't your thing, find someone whose music and movement excite you and use that to channel your inner muse. Watch videos and listen to music you can move to.

Stretching before your shoot can also help - we will be doing a ton of arching, so try to loosen that back up if you can!
